Occupational Therapy looks beyond behaviours to make real, lasting change. In OT, we build up your child to unlock their potential and overcome challenges, while empowering you to be the confident, compassionate parent you are.
Shannon Rolph, OT Reg. (Ont.)
Hey there! I’m Shannon.
I’m here to help you move beyond your child’s struggles so your child and family can experience more ease and joy in your daily life.
I’m passionate about supporting kids and families because I believe that these two things are true: kids are amazing, and parenting can be hard. Parenting kids who struggle at home or school is even harder. I have also seen over and over again that there are ways to make it easier. I’m on a mission to help kids exceed our expectations - to go beyond their limits and overcome their challenges - and to empower parents along the way.
I use a strengths-based approach that is grounded in relationship and connection. This means that instead of focusing on your child’s challenges, we use their strengths to build their confidence while at the same time building up lagging skills. Grounding each session in relationship means that important goals for each session are fun, play, and connection; for kids especially, the best change happens in the context of play and a trusted relationship!
